Star Scientific is one of the stocks that my NY Broker "teased" me with before I signed up. At his urging, I bought in on 6/30/10 for $1.65 a share. They had some product news, popped up to the $2.20 range, and I sold on 7/26/10 for $2.18 a share. Those "winnings" ended up being the first money I sent to the broker to establish an account.

The stock is now (8/20/10) trading around $1.66 again, and I'm seriously thinking of "taking another ride" once I get out of wash sale territory.

Back in on 8/26/10 for $1.56 a share.

Out on 9/20/10 for $2.03 a share.
