Sharon's Mexican Wedding Cake (Cookie) Recipe


Sharon's been making these for a long time. Todd irreverently calls them "chokers", as that's what happens if you inhale while eating them.

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Add flour and salt and mix. Mix in nuts. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake 10 - 12 minutes or until set but not brown. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
