Todd's George & Ira
Gershwin Lyrics Page

This is really an offshoot of my Ella
Fitzgerald Page. After a few odd requests, I decided it would be easy
to show a page by composer, so here it is.
Some of these can be found on Gershwin Songbook
,
or The Complete Songbooks
This page contains songs that were written by either George or Ira Gershwin; Ira worked with many other composers after George's death.
I've discovered another site on the net with a Gershwin song chronology. Here's a list of Gershwin songs from 1916-1924, and here's the list from 1925 and beyond. That site has since disappeared. I'm repeating the chronology on my own site until such time as I locate the same info on a new site.
The collection has grown, so you can snag
all the files on this page (updated 05/28/01) in zip format.
If there's an asterisk (*) after the link, I'm either
looking for it or it's on my "to do" list to transcribe.
